**Heidelberg Materials Named Wake County Big Sweep Partner of the Year**
RALEIGH, N.C.—Wake County Big Sweep has recognized Heidelberg Materials North America as its 2023 Partner of the Year for their outstanding dedication and support over the past 13 years. The company has played a pivotal role in Big Sweep's mission to protect and improve local waterways, consistently providing resources, assistance, and enthusiasm for the cause.
Heidelberg Materials has made remarkable contributions, including staff support, providing meals for volunteers, and managing logistics for clean-up events. These efforts have ensured that every Big Sweep activity operates efficiently and effectively.
This year, Heidelberg's efforts reached new heights with significant donations, including a custom caged trailer for storing and transporting equipment, six canoes, ten kayaks, paddles, life vests, and signage for the trailer. These additions will enhance Big Sweep's operations, allowing volunteers and organizers to perform clean-up initiatives more independently and sustainably in the future.
