**Wake County Public Schools Launches Community Partnership Mapping Initiative**

The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) has officially introduced the Community Partnership Mapping Initiative, a program designed to better connect schools with community organizations and their resources. The initiative aims to establish a strategic partnership management system that will enhance communication, ensure equitable distribution of goods and services, and help grow effective programs throughout the district.

Through this effort, WCPSS will compile a detailed contact list and a mapped database of new and existing community partners. This tool will allow staff to identify specific needs in the district and connect with partners who can provide needed resources and services.

WCPSS has extended an invitation to nonprofits, religious organizations, private foundations, and other community groups to participate. Organizations are encouraged to submit an organizational profile to join the database.
