**Wake County Public Schools Announce Early Dismissal and Cancellations Due to Weather**

Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) in Apex, North Carolina, has announced schedule adjustments due to anticipated inclement weather on Friday, January 10. All schools will dismiss three hours early on Friday.

Additionally, all athletic and extracurricular events scheduled for Friday and Saturday have been canceled. The district’s Central Offices will also close to the public at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

To ensure the safety of students, school buses will provide transportation for those who ride buses, and parents can pick up their children as usual. Staff members will remain on campus until each child has been accounted for and has a safe way to get home.

WCPSS encourages families to stay informed by visiting their website, wcpss.net, for updates. The district thanked parents and staff for their understanding and cooperation.
