**Severe Winter Weather Alters Wake County Facility Hours This Weekend**
Due to severe winter weather conditions, Wake County Government in Raleigh, North Carolina, has announced adjusted hours for several of its facilities this weekend. Residents are advised to take caution, stay safe, and dress appropriately for the weather.
**Saturday, January 11, 2023:**
- **Wake County Public Libraries**: Open from noon to 5 p.m. *Note*: Athens Drive Community Library will be closed.
- **Wake County Animal Center (WakeGov Pets)**: Open from 2 to 5 p.m.
- **Wake County Solid Waste Facilities**: Open from noon to 5 p.m.
- **Wake County Parks and Preserves**: Closed to the public.
**Sunday, January 12, 2023:**
- **Wake County Public Libraries**: Open from 1 to 5 p.m.
- **Wake County Animal Center (WakeGov Pets)**: Open from 2 to 5 p.m.
- **Wake County Solid Waste Facilities**: Open from noon to 5 p.m.
- **Wake County Parks and Preserves**: Closed to the public.
