Free Naloxone Training Tomorrow in Raleigh, NC

Naloxone is a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses, including those caused by heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioids. It is typically available as a nasal spray or an auto-injector.
In celebration of Save A Life Day, Wake County, the City of Raleigh, and the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition are hosting a free training event. This training will focus on overdose prevention, naloxone administration, and the legal protections provided under North Carolina’s Good Samaritan Law.
Event details are as follows:
- **Date:** Tomorrow, September 24
- **Time:** 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- **Location:** John Chavis Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Raleigh
