Take Action Against Book Bans Today!

Staff Report / brooklynlocal.org

A campaign to address the increasing number of book bans has been launched by The New York Public Library (NYPL). The initiative encourages individuals to take action by signing the #FreedomToRead pledge. Participants can send an email to their elected representatives highlighting the importance of this issue. The call to action comes ahead of a designated Day of Action on Saturday, October 19. Those interested can find more information and sign the pledge at the NYPL website.
