Graham Savage, a graduate of Heritage High School, is working as part of the stage crew for the off-Broadway production of The Outsiders. The show is playing this weekend at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). Savage is serving as a flyman and assistant carpenter on the national tour, contributing to a production that brings Broadway-caliber storytelling to audiences across the country.

Savage began his interest in technical theater while attending schools in the Wake County Public School System. He noted that the strong arts and theater program at Heritage High School played an important role in helping him discover his passion for theater.
