Apex Libraries Celebrate National Library Week

Apex, North Carolina – National Library Week will be observed from April 6 to April 12, 2025, under the theme "Drawn to the Library!" The celebration highlights the impact libraries have on communities by providing books, graphic novels, workshops, and story times.

Libraries serve as spaces for sharing stories, fostering art, and supporting creativity. Local libraries in Apex and the surrounding area continue to host events and programs that bring residents together, while recognizing the work of librarians and library staff.

The event is part of a national effort supported by organizations such as the American Library Association and Scholastic. Local officials have expressed appreciation for individuals including Eva Perry, and there is anticipation surrounding the upcoming Friendship Library project. Additional details can be found on the Wake County government website.
