Apex PD Hosts Free Youth Summer Camp

The Apex Police Department is sponsoring a free week-long summer camp for youth ages 11 to 14. The camp will run during two sessions, June 23–27 and August 4–8, with camp hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Camp activities include a K-9 demonstration, a tour of Wake County Jail, hands-on crime scene investigation, a police obstacle course, and the opportunity to try on DWI goggles. Participants will also have the chance to experience fun fitness activities, learn about traffic safety, solve mock crime scenes, and build team skills.

Those interested in attending the youth camp should email Officer Arata at Katherine.arata@apexnc.org to secure a spot. Further information and application packets are available upon request via the same contact.
