Timber Drive Celebrates Black History and Read Across America

Timber Drive Elementary School in Apex, North Carolina hosted two events in February. At the end of the month, the school held a Black History Month celebration attended by more than 400 community and family members. The event featured student performances and project presentations. The following morning, the school welcomed community members for a Read Across America session. First responders, community leaders, high school students, sports personalities, and former Timberwolves joined classroom reading activities.
