**Severe Weather Forces Adjusted Schedules for Wake County Facilities**

Raleigh, North Carolina – Due to anticipated winter weather conditions, Wake County Government has announced changes to operating hours for several public facilities through the weekend. Residents are advised to stay safe and monitor updates.

Here is the adjusted schedule:

**Friday, January 10**

- All Wake County facilities will close early at **5 p.m.**.

**Saturday, January 11**

- **Wake County Public Libraries**: Open from **noon – 5 p.m.**. Note: The Athens Drive Community Library will remain closed.

- **WakeGov Pets (Wake County Animal Center)**: Open from **2 – 5 p.m.**.

- **Wake County Solid Waste facilities**: Open from **noon – 5 p.m.**.

- **Wake County Parks and Preserves**: Closed to the public.

**Sunday, January 12**

- **Wake County Public Libraries**: Open from **1 – 5 p.m.**.

- **WakeGov Pets (Wake County Animal Center)**: Open from **2 – 5 p.m.**.

- **Wake County Solid Waste facilities**: Open from **noon – 5 p.m.**.
