Scranton Art Haus to Screen 'Weapons' Critically Acclaimed

Scranton, Pennsylvania – The Scranton Art Haus will host a special screening event for the horror film Weapons this Tuesday. The film, which currently holds a 94% Tomatometer rating, has received praise from critics for its blend of horror, mystery, and humor.

Critics from Rotten Tomatoes have noted that Weapons features a "masterful blend of horror, mystery, and surprising humor" and commended director Zach Cregger for creating an experience that is both "psychologically rich" and "shockingly funny." Additional reviews highlighted the film’s ability to "check all the boxes" for horror fans and described its ending as “nuts.”

Rotten Tomatoes reviewers also stated that the film "needles a universal neurosis" regarding self-protection and the unknown, and praised the strong performances by Julia Garner and Josh Brolin. One review mentioned that seeing the film twice was necessary to fully appreciate its compelling ride through psychological thrills.

Tickets for Weapons are available for $5.55, with additional charges for PTX and 3D. The promotion, which offers an "admit one" deal every Tuesday, is available through www.Scrantonarthaus.com.
