Wake County commissioners approved construction contracts during a meeting held yesterday in Raleigh, North Carolina. The approved contracts will fund upgrades at Harris Lake County Park and Blue Jay Point County Park. Planned improvements include enhancements to trails, waterfront access, playgrounds, educational spaces, and disc golf areas. The project funding comes from the 2018 Parks, Greenways, Recreation and Open Space bond.
