**LA County Launches SmallBiz Permit Express Program**

Los Angeles County has introduced the SmallBiz Permit Express program aimed at easing the permitting process for small, community-focused businesses. Recognizing the importance of these businesses to the local economy, the program seeks to reduce obstacles they face in obtaining necessary permits.

Businesses that participate in the program can expect a 25% reduction in response times for permit submittals. Additionally, those issued permits through the program will receive priority inspections.

Eligibility for the program includes small businesses and social enterprises that meet certain community service or environmental criteria. Applications can be submitted through EPIC-LA at [epicla.lacounty.gov](http://epicla.lacounty.gov).
