The Jacksonville University Ripcurrent Marching Band has been selected to perform in the 40th Anniversary London New Year’s Day Parade scheduled for January 1, 2026. The band, described as “tiny but mighty,” will perform in front of an expected audience of 750,000 spectators. In addition to the parade, the students will spend a week experiencing London’s culture. The band director, Chris Creswell, received recognition for leading the group in achieving this opportunity.
