Wake County Hosts Community Overdose Prevention Conversation

Wake County, North Carolina will host a community conversation focused on overdose prevention in conjunction with National Save a Life Day. The event is organized in partnership with Alliance Health and the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition.
The discussion will cover several important topics, including the current overdose crisis, signs of an overdose, and how to administer naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. Additionally, the event aims to address the stigma related to substance use.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask experts questions related to these themes. This community conversation is free, but space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance.
